With over 16 years of experience in journalism and marketing, Emily is an often sought-after professional who people turn to for reliable creative projects. She founded Social B. Creative to share her passions for people, community, and hard work.
While at ProMedica, Emily helped win the organization its first regional EMMY Award for a 30-minute documentary on food insecurity that aired on WGTE. She was also instrumental in securing the funding for “Juleeon’s Mural” on Collingwood Avenue in Toledo, which was featured on a national level through the #CNNMuralStories series on Instagram.
Her work as a freelance marketing professional has connected her with brands and individuals who share the same values and pride for her community, and she has seen success in developing brand voices and social media consulting for the Ottawa Hills High School leadership team, Pfeil Hardware, Balance Grille, and many others. Now the CEO of SBC, the journey has come full circle for Emily as she continues to provide clients with invaluable content, while also connecting them with other creative marketers who have supported her efforts throughout the years.
